This latest installment of New York City’s BITW brings us bag sightings from the Upper East Side and features two incredibly stylish ladies spotted in SoHo, our upcoming NYC BITW locale.
Turfah-owner Tola Adegbite and her stylish companion brought whimsy and pops of color in true SoHo fashion. Meanwhile, the ladies of the UES continue to serve sleek neutrals with a few color pops of their own.
Bright blue Tod’s, cow-print Dooney & Bourke, and antique nappa-leather Prada made for a gorgeous ending to our Upper East Side BITW series. We’ll definitely be back! But it’s off to SoHo for now!
What other neighborhoods in NYC would you like to see BITW feature?
That is one nasty comment. When a person of color wears a luxury bag, suddenly it has become Canal street and accessible. You must be awful in real life
Your opinion. Not a fact by any means.
When does accessible = Canal Street. What a terrible and insensitive comment. What is wrong with you? SMH
The woman standing to the left of the one carrying the Ferragamo Wanda bag is carrying the Beka bag by Caroline De Marchi.
Thank you very much for mentioning our iconic Beka bag! With love from Paris

Someone cover Hong Kong! It is crazy here, designers at every turn – fun! Love seeing what other are wearing. I’m getting quite good at naming things now, thanks PurseBlog!
Bags in the Wild are my favorite because you highlight a great mix of high and low. There is something for ALL of us. Thank you!!
Agree 100%
Do central park! Such a broad mix of people and lots are there to do informal mini-photo shoots, so there’s a range of casual playground-going moms as well as tourists dressing to impress and influencers looking for a boulder to pose on.
We are on it! We want to hit all the boroughs and give different looks at the people of New York City (and other cities we share with you all!).
Manhattan posts are my favorite ❤️
