From vintage Miu Miu to colorful Goyards, Spring is still ushering in a new wave of bag-sightings in Atlanta.
Though neutrals continue to reign supreme on the streets of ATL, the bold pops of color make up for any sense of uniformity. And the stories that come with many of these designer arm-pieces shed light on how a bag becomes sentimental and less of a replaceable or resellable luxury item.
Carole’s Chloé bucket bag was a divorce present to herself, her therapist told her she had done a great job, and she wholeheartedly agreed. Myanka’s Louis Vuitton (seen below with her bright red wedding bangles) was purchased in Paris while on her honeymoon, her first LV. And Carolina’s gorgeous Lady Dior was a gift from her husband after a trip to Turkey and quickly became her favorite of her 33-deep (and growing) bag collection.
Often much more than “just a bag,” one can only imagine the stories behind the many bags below!

Thanks for including a bunch of fat ladies! ❤️
lol, I thought you were being mean and my face soured… and then realized you were expressing genuine appreciation to the writer!
tbh I see only maybe one…the rest look mid-sized to me! but understand the sentiment and honestly imo…ATL is definitely the most refreshing / energizing “bags in the wild” city! there’s real personality here!
The Bottega Loop bag is looking better and better to me lately. Maybe that’ll be my next purchase, had been planning for a Lindy for the last couple of months (I wait 6 months before any 3k+ purchase for a cooling period lol). It just seems like such a useful and comfortable shape, and BV colors are pretty intriguing.
I don’t wait 6 months, but now I do have a cooling off period. I’ve made too many impulsive purchases only to regret it and return the bag(s). I’ve had to train myself that every beautiful bag that I want, I don’t need.
Just love the Miu Miu vitello hobo. So relaxed and refreshing!
I find the young lady with the LV multi pochette so effortless stylish! Good job girl!
