We spend the majority of our time hear talking about handbags, but what goes in them is just as important, and thankfully, some designers put as much care into the design of their wallets and small leather goods as they do into their big-name bags. Thankfully, Céline is among them; last week, we looked at the brand’s Winter 2016 handbag lookbook, and today, we’re here to do the same with the accessories.
In case you’ve never considere Céline’s small leather goods before, the brand’s wallets (which they refer to as “multifunctions”), card cases and coin purses have the same spare, modern design sensibility as its bags. I have the solo large zip around wallet in butter and sage and it’s been surprisingly durable for a smooth leather wallet. I get compliments all the time.
I like the accordion card holders. Very cool design. With that being said, I can’t fathom spending that much money on a wallet.
I love Celine, but why oh why would I want “Made In Italy” on the OUTSIDE of my bag????
