Lindsay Lohan Style: YSL Belle de Jour Wristlet

Lindsay Lohan Style: YSL Belle de Jour Wristlet

1.14.2008 | by Megs | under: Celebrity Style , Wristlets , YSL Handbags

lindsay lohan ysl wristletLindsay Lohan was seen doing what she is known for over the weekend, getting in and out of her car while the paparazzi snaps her picture. LiLo is back from her make-out sessions in Italy and has been laying low. Recently, Lindsay Lohan’s bag of choice has been the Rebecca Minkoff Morning After Bag. And now she has opted for a smaller handbag, just to carry the essentials. Lindsay Lohan has been sporting the YSL Belle de Jour Wristlet in white patent leather with brass hardware. The wristlet measures 4 3/4” H x 4 1/2” W x 1” D and features a zip-around closure. This is the perfect accessory to carry a few essentials around in when on errands. Lindsay is always carrying bags that are huge hits! The wristlet is available in green and anthracite on YSL’s online boutique for $335.

I don’t get it-how does she still buy bags if she supposedly broke??

I’m not a fan of LiLo but I love this clutch and must admit she is looking pretty good (minus the shoes).

I believe they give her the bags. Then people like us see them. I didn’t know she was broke.

Boy does she look like her mama.

I really like the shape and style of this wristlet, although, even though I like to travel light, the size might be a little too compact to be practical; even for me!

But, I wonder why, these days, YSL almost always seem to think that the only necessary form of decoration is their logo? :???:

Granted, the YSL logo is one of the more attractive ones, IMO and I appreciate that it is reasonably subtly done, in this case, as it is self-coloured; but why don’t they utilise more original embellishments, more often?

Also, why do these designer brand online stores, almost always, cater solely to the US? :???:

To give them their due - at least Gucci sell online to most of Europe, as well and Dior also sell online to the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain; not that selling to the US and some of Europe is even a drop in the international market ocean, of course.

I understand that there may be issues involved in shipping to certain, politically unstable, countries, but I think it would look far less prejudiced (because I DO think it looks a bit prejudiced; especially if they only sell to one, or two, countries) to at least sell online to the countries where they have a bricks and mortar brand boutique they can deliver from.

I like the clutch. Perfect to hold a camera or for a day in disneyland! You know the rides dont have much space to put your bag in.
