Fendi Vintage Leather Baguette
So I just brought you the beauty that is the Fendi Rainbow Clutch, but I can see many of you (even me!) thinking it looks drab in the picture. A picture is worth a thousand words, and when a picture neglects to capture the essence of a bag, it can loose potential followers. I am not satisfied with the picture for the rainbow clutch, and even less satisfied with the bold colors on the version photographed. It is harsh and not as chic as the bag looked on the runway. Thankfully Fendi has created other color options to appeal to those who are not fans of the rainbow version, and this picture showcases the bag much better. Saks is carrying the Fendi Vintage Leather Baguette in both ivory and brown leather. This bag features the same appeal as the rainbow version; including elaborate stitching, smooth leather, and an interchangeable shoulder strap. The perk is, that this ivory color is stunning even in pictures! It is so chic and lady-like. The appeal of large clutches is not for everyone, but if you want to pull it off it is a statement piece. Dimensions are 16″W X 8″H X 3″D. Buy through Saks for $1950.
So now we have brought you the Fendi Patent Shoulder Bag, the Fendi Rainbow Clutch, and this Fendi Vintage Baguette. Which appeals to you?

Fendi Rainbow Clutch
Just as quickly as it showed up on Net A Porter, it vanished. I have been waiting like a child waiting for her birthday for this bag. Anxiously waiting to see what it will truly look like. To be honest, I am feeling let down. I am sure each version of the Fendi Rainbow Clutch differs slightly, adding a more subdued hue of yellow, blue, pink, or green, but the colors shown on NAP are more bold than I imagined. In fact, this is almost a blessing in disguise, as I am on the wait list for this bag at my local Fendi boutique and if the bag they want to gives me looks like this, it is not for me. What I love about this Fendi Handbag is the oversized appeal, with the chunky stitching and Fendi buckle detailing. The mixture of colors is that of tasty sorbets and the leather is supple as it comes. Fendi was one of the leaders in bringing the Art trend for their spring line. This is still a total hit for me, but not the exact bag shown. What gives me hope is knowing that each bag’s color will vary. So if this works out, it means the bag will be the perfect light hues (as seen on the runway) and I will hopefully get it towards the end of this month. Keep checking back with Net A Porter, as this bag may come in stock again, but will sell out soon each time. So I am crossing my fingers to those at Fendi, that when it is my turn for this bag, my colors are toned-down hues of rainbow perfection. Price is $1950.

Fendi Patent Shoulder Bag
I have been patiently waiting for a design from the house of Fendi to wow me. I mean the kind of wow that is undeniable, the feeling you get when you see a bag that you absolutely must have! Not saying that this bag is it, but it could be, in a different version. While the Fendi Patent Shoulder Bag has a shoulder strap, the chic way to carry it is sans-strap as an oversized clutch. The oversized bag from Fendi was spotted on the Spring 2008 RTW runway in various forms, my favorite being the multicolor hues and oversized stitching (similar to the multicolor Doctor Frame Bag). I am still waiting to see that bag in person and see how much it wins me over (it could be the bag that turns me back on to Fendi). So this bag, the patent shoulder bag, is slightly reminiscent of what I am yearning for. The good news is this is easy to wear, at all times. Th black patent leather will carry over for seasons and the fold over top is a nice finish. This is ok, but I am waiting for stunning! Buy through Net A Porter for $1680.

Fendi Borderline Clutch
The shape of this clutch is one of my favorite designs; effortless, timeless, and beautiful. We spoke about three other versions of this Fendi Clutch, which got mixed reviews. Just in for spring, the Fendi Borderline Clutch gives off a roaring 20’s vibe with the fringe and the perfect pop of color with the fuchsia. The size of this bag is perfect to hold all evening essentials, 8.5″W x 7.5″H x 2″D. Last year I had two 20’s themed events to go to and this clutch would have been perfect! I could have worn my black flapper dress, little hat, long strands of beads, and the perfect pop of color. That being said this clutch is of the moment, but not perfect if you are looking for a classic. There is a diamante clasp to fasten and a press stud fastening to secure down the fold over front. Buy through NAP for $1,040.

Fendi Doctor Frame B Bag
Ok so the whole multicolored thing is a little in your face, right? A little too much of the rainbow is going on here. And the bag is just alright. Luckily the dimensions are pretty large or else this handbag would 100% look as if it belonged on a school girl. But seeing that the style is ok, and if the rainbow colors were not so overpowering, you would be able to see that this bag is actually quite pretty. The Fendi Doctor B Bag may not be your choice when it comes to a new handbag, but their larger version has caused quite the stir around the fashion world. I have been asking for over a week about help identifying a certain Rachel Bilson handbag; it is super oversized and looks big enough for her to scoop herself up inside of it. The front on view gave nothing away, but the side view is where the bag could be identified from. The buckled bands on each side are able to adjust the bags capacity and the B buckle is a signature of the house of Fendi. So I am not dubbing this small acid or pastel multicolored bag chic, but if you check out the large one-colored version, it is a definite stunner. The top of the bag is framed and the outside leather is smooth and grained. Dimensions of this small version are 16″x 10.5″x 6.5″. Buy through eLuxury for $1,840 if the multicolored version suits your style.

Fendi Artist Baguette
This is the handbag that keeps on giving. Apparently the designers at Fendi decided they were completely out of ideas and thought it would be genius to give you a blank bag to let you scribble all over it. And there you have the Fendi Artist Baguette, the do-it-yourself handbag that allows you to paint all over the white canvas with markers. Markers? Not even chic paints? No, of course not paints, not any material that would give an artist a way to possibly design a better bag than Fendi could come up with themselves. You know, I like this idea. The idea is great for the family that has so much money little Suzie would love to color on a designer purse for her 5th birthday. I got a coloring book for my 5th birthday, but little Suzie, the heiress to the post-it dynasty, would love a blank Fendi bag. I find it humorous that Fendi credits their success to three main factors- creativity, technology, and craftsmanship. Creativity, really? Oh ok I did not realize this blank white bag with markers is a creative idea. The only person left to be creative is the buyer, who already has to front over a thousand dollars for this bag. But this idea could be loved by our artistic-minded handbag lovers out there. The important thing is that I do not get one of these bags myself. The artistic gene skipped a generation when it comes to hands-on-arts-and-crafts, so unless I want to look like I am stuck in the 1st grade, I better steer clear of this handbag. Pre-order through Neiman Marcus for $1,300.

Fendi Patent Leather B Bag
The Fendi B Bag is nothing new to the scene. In fact, this bag was a big hit when it arrived, and now is released in a wide variety of colors, sizes, and materials. Good for those that love it, the bag often gets marked down later on in the season if the combination was not a smashing hit. What about a pastel turquoise color? The Fendi Patent Leather B Bag has been released in a shade of blue which is the color of the sky with a pastel punch. While blue is a popular color, this specific shade is very Easter-esque. But this hue looks great with the brass chain handles offsetting it. The oversized buckles on the front and signature F detailing on the brass buckle prong are actually a plus. I am just not sold on this bag and color combination. The only positive for me is that the color blue is also an appetite suppressant. So if you take this out for lunches and dinners, your munchies may disappear (you never know!). $1,860 through Net A Porter.

Fendi Clutch
Net A Porter continues to mark down the old while bringing in the new. I am all about the more affordable old and the expensive new! Bring it on. I have always been a fan of these simple-shaped Fendi Clutches, and now all three are marked down. If you want to play it safe, opt for the Fendi Satin Clutch which sports purple satin. This version has been marked down from $705 to $493 at Net A Porter. My next favorite is the funky and fun Fendi Hologram Suede Clutch. The silver suede is placed on the fold-over clutch and can easily transition from day to night. Marked down from $730 to $511 at Net A Porter. And I am saving the best for last! It is funny, but the last clutch is also the clutch with the most pizazz, which can easily be loved or hated by on-lookers. The Fendi Ruched Beaded Clutch was covered by me before and at the time I had a strong affinity to the bag, and now I feel even stronger. Sure it looks like a clam, sure it is out there, but it will also be a statement piece. This beauty has been marked down from $1320 to $924 via Net A Porter.

Small accessories make great gifts for the girl who has everything. If your budget will not allow for you to buy a handbag, go for an accessory, because most of us have handbags that can carry tons of accessories. Whether you are in school or just the gal with the agenda that is attached to your hip, the Fendi Selleria Pencil Case is a cute little pouch that is quite feasible. To be honest, I would also consider this to be a great tampon holder. Ok, so lip gloss came to mind for you first, but when you have to take out your unmentionable, if you carry it in a cute case like this there will be no shame toting it into the bathroom. The case is made with pink pebble grain leather and there is a zip top. There is also a removable key ring, but I would not attach my keys to this. There is a sterling logo plate on the front and contrast stitching. Dimensions are 6″ x 2.25″ x 1″; perfect for pencils, lip gloss, pens, and tampons. Buy through Barneys for $210.

Upon first glance, this clutch resembles an clam on steroids, featuring a plethora of treasures and wilts in the skin. The ruched beaded detailing is a lot to handle, heightening your optical senses and making you wish to touch and feel the clutch. Yet, I am drawn to the Fendi Ruched Beaded Clutch because it offers a look that is hard to find and a look that can only be pulled off by a few. The material is metallic gold jersey, with beaded detailing, on a winged style. Luckily with it being a small handbag, the dimensions and metallics are more subdued and accepted. It is funky for sure, and not for everyone. I expect many to hate it and many to love it. Oddly enough, I find myself looking at it again and again, wondering the idea behind it, wondering if people would look at me oddly if I were to carry it or look at me thinking ‘you go girl’. Via NAP for $1320.
