I’m totally obsessed with our new series of texture studies, in which we give you a detailed look at the characteristics and components that make up some of our favorite brands and pieces. We first looked at Chanel Spring 2015 bags, and now we have exclusive photos Vlad shot of the Chanel Haute Couture Collection for Spring-Summer 2015.
Fame requires a lot of legwork. Sure, once you’ve made it, someone will usually send a car to ferry you from place to place, but there’s still a fair bit of hoofing involved if you want to stay relevant. That’s why so many of the snapshots we feature are of celebrities dashing through airports, in and out of studios and around throngs of fans.
Even though Mother Nature has seen fit to dump one last snow storm on much of the East Coast today, spring is just around the corner, and that means it’s time to stock up on sandals, tank tops and tons of other warm-weather essentials. If you’re in the shopping mood today, you’re in luck–at the ShopBop Big Event, any purchase over $250 is eligible for big savings of up to 25% through March 7, including sale items! All you have to do is enter code BIGEVENT15 at checkout.
Want to do some shopping for your man? ShopBop’s menswear sibling East Dane is offering the same great deal.
There’s an old saying about the only sure things in life being death and taxes, but if you’re a handbag buyer, there’s another inevitability: price increases. With brands like Chanel, Hermès and Louis Vuitton, they’re fairly easy to track; because the bags are only available from the company’s boutiques, all the new product arrives at once and sales associates warn their loyal customers in advance.
Kim Kardashian attended the Brit Awards to support hubby Kanye West, and over on TalkShoes, we have all the deets on the shoes she wore for the event. We also spotted Karlie Kloss at LAX, wearing supermodel-fave Stuart Weitzman boots. While Fashion Week has moved on to Paris, Gucci’s Fall 2015 shoes in Milan were very furry. We’re not looking ahead to fall entirely, though–Christian Louboutin is focused on Spring 2015 with this vivid Tribalou Collection.
Even as an American customer, British stores are some of my favorite online shopping destinations, both for inspiration and acquisition, and the MATCHESFASHION.COM Shoe and Bag Guide is here to do both. British style has such a sense of boldness and fun to it, which leads to different stock choices, even when it comes to the sites’ buyers making selections from US brands.
Last fall, we gave you an intimate look at some of the bags from the Tiffany & Co. Fall 2014 collection, and though it still feels and looks like winter outside, I want to brighten your day and your accessories collection with the Tiffany & Co.
Last week, we had quite a discussion over the lack of great American luxury handbag designers right now. I’ve heard many of you say you want to see more diversity in the brands we feature, so I’ve been spending time looking for bags and brands that I love that are a bit different from our usual suspects.
