Manolo Blahnik has always been a man who does things at his own pace. While almost all designers hopped on the platform bandwagon in the mid-2000s, Blahnik was steadfast, sticking with the single-sole shoes he’s made for decades. Now that the shoe trend pendulum has firmly swung in his direction, the designer has set his sights on a bag line for the first time.

Regular celeb endorsement is a crucial part of that business model, and Givenchy has absolutely no problems in that department.

Handbag are incredibly expensive, and although most bag charms aren’t exactly cheap, buying one to put on a more classic bag in your arsenal is a lot more cost-effective than buying a whole novelty bag that you may only use sporadically or for a single season.
