Future Fashionista Custom Necklaces

September 5th, 2008 / Posted in Handbags by Megs Mahoney Dusil.

I know many ladies must wear at least a pair of earrings and a necklace, bracelet, and multiple rings when they leave the house. While I do enjoy going through my jewelry and deciding what to wear for specific outfits and occasions, I stick with two go-to must-wear piece, one being my engagement ring. My new must wear piece of jewelry is a custom made necklace from Future Fashionista. I wanted to wear something that had meaning, that would be close to my heart, and remind me of the love I have in my life. Elana at Future Fashionista has always hooked me up, as well as all readers of Purse Blog and Purse Forum. She designed a 14K Pink Gold Custom Engraved Disk Necklace, to which we added two small engraved heart charms. The disk is made of pink gold and can have an engraving of up to 6 letters. I choose LOVE for one side and LIEBE for the other (the German word for love). I added the two engraved hearts with a V and M, for of course, Megs and Vlad. This is my favorite piece of jewelry after my engagement ring, but it is a piece that also has significant meaning to me. The simplicity of the design does not show to the world (unless they get very close to read), but it precisely what I was looking for. You can customize your own necklace through Future Fashionista online. Also you will get 20% off all orders at FutureFashionista.com with code: PurseBlog

It’s lovely, Megs, and the rose gold gives it a very unique and European look, which is fitting!

Did they also do your wonderful multi-band diamond ring shown in your birthday reveal with your white Kelly? I’ve admired that since I saw it and have always wondered where you found it, or whether it’s a custom piece. My sister would love something similar, and it’s time to get her husband shopping for Christmas!

Thanks and continue to enjoy your lovely charm necklace,
    Jerrine

Lilyhermes, the custom diamond band is from somewhere else. It is one of my absolute favorite pieces!!!!! I think Choppard does something like it, but I did not get it from Chopard. The designer of the ring is not making that one any longer though… hopefully you can find something similar for your sister!

This is the probably on of the cutest necklaces I’ve ever seen. A girl I work with has a similar one with her and her husband’s initials and I loved hers when I first saw it too! love the German too!! I spent a year there and it was one of the greatest places I’ve ever been! And the necklace can go with almost everything you wear.

Elana totally rocks! I have earrings I bought that have become a mainstay in my rotation. Very classic necklace, Megs.

That is so cute/beautiful – the thoughts you put into the whole thing make it priceless. And although we´re all into the classic solitaire engagement ring :-) – I believe it´s “stuff” like this, that makes marriages work.
Möge Eure LIEBE ewig dauern… – May your LOVE last forever…
