Introducing the Dior Diorama Bag

The accessory market is always shifting; slowly, one designer moves up the ranks while another movies down and trends ebb and flow. Céline had a major moment, for quite a few seasons, and then the Chanel Boy Bag followed. Of course there are others, but over the past couple of seasons, it’s been those two who have had the most people talking and shopping. Another designer will move its way into this spot at some point, and we already have a strong feeling this could be Dior’s year.

The Lady Dior is a classic, and recently I shared the Be Dior Bag with you; today, I bring you the Dior Diorama. From the Spring 2015 runway show, the Diorama plays with clean architecture on a fashion-forward design.

I had a couple of days with the Diorama bag to check it out, and Vlad took some pictures to share. The Diorama is a great option if you want a timeless, ladylike bag that could be carried during the day but works beautifully for evening. I love the classics we discuss, like the Chanel Classic Flap and Hermès Kelly, but there is something special about finding a great new design from a renowned fashion house.

The Diorama is a classic beauty, timeless and clean, ready to be carried by many for years to come. The Diorama starts at $3,000 for the small version in plain calfskin and goes up to $34,000 for the medium in shiny crocodile.
