Tory Burch triumphantly screamed from the rooftops (or at least The Museum of Modern Art) earlier this week that good old American sportswear isn’t dead. It’s making a major comeback, powered in part by the renaissance of Tory Burch.
Ready-to-wear feels familiar yet different. Classic pieces are given fun twists like bicolor cardigans split up the sleeve and button-up shirts with generously flared sleeves. Relaxed tailoring is present throughout alongside elevated track pants with an effortless cool-girl air.
Show notes describe the inspiration behind the collection—as a whole, it is meant to convey a woman’s wardrobe that has been carefully curated over time. The palette itself is a representation of that as well. It’s neutrals and fun prints surrounded by pops of bold, bright colors.
The bags served as perfect counterparts to the clothes, offering a relaxed, lived-in appeal. Some bags are crafted from leather, which is typically reserved for shoes, like the much-hyped Pierced bag, which debuted for Spring 2025, and the Balloon bag. Both offer an effortless slouch that feels very of the moment.
The Romy bag, quickly becoming a new House signature, appeared on the runway this season in statement-making suedes and faux croc. View more from the collection below, as seen in backstage images from the Tory Burch Fall 2025 show.

I don’t see anything “americana” about this collection. Though I really enjoyed the bags and clothes.
The bags are fine, what I really like is some of the clothing!
I own the Romy bag and LOVE it. Perfect everyday bag for me, and I’ve been carrying it for three weeks straight.
I have purchased Tory bags since I first discovered the brand in Neimans (around 2003 or ’04) use them a few times, then resell. For some reason I just do not love & cherish them. The only one I have had forever, is a very small gold silk clutch, not sure why that one has remained, but it has.
