While I am not an active follower of the NBA, living in a city that has one of the teams making it to the finals gets me in the spirit. Since so many of you loved the post on the bags the NFL Superbowl players carried, it seemed only right to share my home team, the Miami Heat, and the bags the players carry as well.
The bag game for the Miami Heat team lacked variety, with some players opting to repeat the same bag many times and others choosing small phone pouches with no larger carryall in sight. Either way, I love seeing the different styles the Miami Heat players arrive at their games wearing, and if any of the Heat players are listening, bring out more bag variety for us bag lovers who also love basketball!
Bam Adebayo
Sometimes you find a bag that does the exact job you need, and it becomes your tried and true bag. That is the case for Bam Adebayo and his Louis Vuitton Keepall Bandoulière 55. This bag fits more than plenty, matches every outfit, and clearly, Bam doesn’t think he needs another option.
Caleb Martin
On the opposite side of the bag size spectrum, we have Caleb Martin carrying a small crossbody bag. This looks to be different colorways of the Ferragamo Gancini Ross Body Bag and is just the right size to fit his phone. I love the yellow version with the knit Supreme sweater; it’s peak Miami.
Jimmy Butler
Even if you don’t follow basketball closely, you’ve probably heard of Jimmy Buckets or Playoff Jimmy. The Heat forward carries far less bags than I would have expected, and his partnership with Alo Yoga meant we saw some Alo bag swag.
Kevin Love
Kevin Love keeps it simple yet editorial. That camo pouch is simple enough, but I see that Kith limited edition holiday sweater!
Tyler Herro
Tyler keeps it practical and oversized with ludicrously capacious bags, natch.
Victor Oladipo
And we round out our roundup with a player that also loves his Louis Vuitton Keepall Bandoulière 55. But don’t think I didn’t notice your Whole Foods bag. We love a practical bag, man!
