While I understand that the NFL and its players and coaches are generously paid, the idea of having a Christmas Day game seems incredibly ill-timed to me. Much of that may be coming from me, a mom who planned every gift, event, and cookie this holiday season and can’t fathom then having my partner gone for work on that very special day. However, it is part of the NFL that the players may not love, but the fans do, who either spend their Christmas afternoons at the stadium or have it playing on TV while spending the afternoon with family and friends.
I was hoping for a bit more over-the-top, on-the-nose holiday outfits, but while I saw one player show up in a Grinch shirt, he didn’t carry a bag, and we are here for the bags.
Some players opted for bringing in red and green to their fits and bags. I particularly liked Charles Omenihu’s deep green accessories and jacket alongside his oversized Andiamo. I saw more of the UGGs that Santa brought my 9-year-old (those were hard to track down!), and the bag game continues to shine this season for the NFL. If you’ve missed any of the other installments, there’s plenty of eye candy when it comes to the NFL players and the bags they’ve been carrying to games!
