When I assembled the first edition of Nicky Hilton’s Many Bags series, it was the largest collection we had profiled to date. In the little over a year since then, it’s been eclipsed in size by a couple of other stars, but Nicky’s collection is still among my favorites because she’s so clearly One Of Us: a woman who looks to her handbags to pull our outfits together, whether she’s attending a formal event or just walking to her local bodega.
Of course, the fact that Nicky’s rich and famous gives her considerable access to incredible bags and the ability to acquire them at will, which is why we’ve found nearly three dozen new editions to Hilton’s collection since the last time we looked. Check out all of them below.
Bottega Veneta Snakeskin Knot Clutch
$2,488 via MATCHESFASHION.COM
I’m distracted from Nicky’s clutch in this photo because I want to know what kind of skincare products she uses.
Valentino Rockstud Naked Trapeze Tote
Shop Valentino via Barneys
This outfit is typical of Nicky in her off hours – California-casual outfit paired with a statement bag.
Valentino Studded Minaudiere
$1,798 via MyTheresa
Nicky wears and carries so much Valentino that the brand flew her to Paris for the show last year.
Valentino Rockstud Camo Trapeze Tote
$3,475 via LUISAVIAROMA
Nicky follows her own casual-dressing formula to a T on most days.
Valentino Rockstud Rouge Clutch
$1,725 via Forzieri
Sometimes that formula doesn’t even vary all that much when a fashion show is involved. Nicky knows what she likes.
Rebecca Minkoff Elle Studded Mini Satchel
$265 via Nordstrom
Almost all of Nicky’s bag are from the highest of high-end brands, but she makes occasional exceptions for Rebecca Minkoff.
Rebecca Minkoff Elle Studded Satchel
$355 via Bluefly
Nicky seems to have liked the Elle line in particular.
Edie Parker Nameplate Flavia Clutch
$1,095 via Neiman Marcus
If I had my name customized onto a clutch, I’d carry it around just like this because, I mean, look at my name on this clutch, you guys.
Hermès Constance Bag
A little bit boho, a little bit Hermès, perfectly Nicky.
Valentino Studded Minaudiere
Shop Valentino via Net-a-Porter
Nicky does a great job with the whole dress-up-for-a-swanky-party thing, especially in Valentino.
Chanel Sequined Classic Flap Bag
Look closely; Nicky’s tank is Chanel as well.
We’re not sure who made this clutch, but it’s worth noting that it’s the second of at least three clutches that Nicky has which are festooned with her name or initials.
Bulgari Serpenti Bag
Nicky loves Chanel, but Bulgari is a great flap-bag alternative when you’re all Chanel’d out.
Goyard Vendome Bag
Nicky doesn’t stop at clutches; she’ll put her initials pretty much anywhere a designer makes it possible.
Valentino Gryphon Finger Clutch
$1,595 via Nordstrom
This full-Valentino look is probably my favorite of Nicky’s.
Sara Battaglia Fringe Teresa Bag
$1,460 via Intermix
This, on the other hand, does not rank high on my list of favorites, but something tells me Nicky doesn’t care.
Devi Kroell Python Hobo
Nicky has had this bag for ages and still carries it regularly.
Sara Battaglia Lady Me Clutch
$1,399 via farfetch.com
This is the third and final of our Nicky Hilton name clutches, but I hope she acquires a few more before it’s time to make Part 3 of her Many Bags series.
Ralph Lauren Soft Ricky Bag
$2,750 via Neiman Marcus
For some reason, my first reaction to this look was, “Gwyneth Paltrow would approve of this.”
Chanel Classic Flap Bag
Kris Jenner, on the other hand, would probably try to steal this one.
Chanel Kelly Bag
This ensemble, chosen for the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic, is pretty much perfect to attend any event sponsored by an expensive champagne company.
Proenza Schouler PS1 Bag
$1,695 via Barneys
We’ve seen Nicky do the black top/patterned bottom/look-at-me bag combo a few times today.
Chanel Boy Brick Clutch
Topping off an outfit that any young woman could put together with a bag that costs ten grand is a classic Nicky Hilton move.
Christian Dior Lady Dior Bag
The Lady Dior doesn’t cost $10k (at least not in this version), but the principle is the same.
Chanel No. 5 Perfume Bottle Clutch
And again. Nicky, like so many bag lovers, tends to let her accessories do the talking.
Christian Louboutin Loubiposh Spiked Clutch
$995 via Barneys
Nicky doesn’t often go for match-y, but sometimes we’re all tempted.
Jeff Koons x H&M Balloon Dog Bag
Nicky went to this art/fast fashion collab’s debut and snagged the most sought-after piece of all.
Chanel Chain Boy Bag
Perhaps the most notable change in Nicky’s bag supply over the past year has been the recent uptick in the number of Chanel bags.
Goyard Portfolio
I love the Goyard bag, of course, but I’d also like to know what book Nicky is toting.
Chanel Flap Bag
This is among the girliest ensembles that we’ve seen Nicky choose.
Goyard Jeanne Top Handle
Louis Vuitton Pegase Rolling Suitcase
The only thing surprising about this photo is that the suitcase doesn’t also have Nicky’s initials on it.
Hermès Mini Ostrich Kelly
Bea saw Nicky carrying this bag in the Hamptons last weekend and said she looked totally perfect.
Chanel Flap Bag
Lately, though, it’s been mostly Chanel.
Chanel Tweed Flap Bag
And how can you blame her?
Balenciaga First Bag
$1,685 via Barneys
Nicky changes her bag practically every day, though, so you never know what’ll turn up.
