This bag is worth discussing. I came across the Burberry Prorsum Medium Osprey Leather Tote and I had an overwhelming need to look at it closer. While I couldn’t put my finger on why I needed to look closer, I knew I had to. (more…)
You’ve heard me me say this time and time before – I am not a fan of Juicy Couture handbags. I’m just not. They seem far too over the top for my liking. There are way too many bells and whistles for me to deal with. Call me a minimalist, but I don’t need my handbag to virtually jump out at people who pass by. Now, no sooner do I say that do I introduce a Juicy Couture bag that dare I say… l like!?! (more…)
Normally, my friends, I don’t wear hearts at all- not on necklaces, shirts, or bags- not even as an unoffending charm on my charm bracelet. But illustrated hearts have proven to be a different matter, at least in this case. You see, what I lack in hearts I more than make up in stars, and I’m finding the combination of the two in multicolored, illustrated form to be quite irresistible.
Of course, the Lanvin Love Canvas Pochette is quite artsy, veering towards the artsy and crafty, so it’s certainly not for everyone. But I must admit that it’s totally cute and wonderfully free, though it’s clear that it’s far from painted by a kinder-gardener. No, these are careful scribbles perfectly penned to create the happy-go-lucky atmosphere of the pochette. (more…)
Megs wrote about this bag a bit ago, but I couldn’t help but cover it as well. So, earlier today I wrote about the Yves Saint Laurent Yes Large Leather Tote. While writing about this tote, I expressed my concern for its price. Well, the same concern has popped up with this Fendi bag.
Ok, first and foremost, I like seeing a Fendi bag that hasn’t been covered with its logo. I’m over logos. So realizing the bag up for discussion is a Fenid AND you can’t really tell unless you look around the handles makes the bag discussion worthy – at least in my book. This is hands down a really cute shopper but my jaw dropped when I saw the price tag attached. How much would you think this bag was going to cost you? (more…)
Ladies and gents, I need you to weigh in here. I cannot decide whether or not this Yves Saint Laurent handbag is genius or simply not enough for what you are paying for.
Yves Saint Laurent is one of those brands, one of those brands that is almost always worth a second look. This is the case because the first look might take you in the wrong direction, but the second look, the second look could reveal sheer genius. While I want that to be the case here, I just don’t think that is the case. (more…)
Lately I’m really attracted to uniquely shaped bags- anything that’s not the normal square tote or rectangular clutch, if you will. This See by Chloe Sand Glazed Suede Bag fits the bill quite nicely. While it’s not magnificently sculptural or completely out-of-this-world (like perhaps a dodecahedron bag would be; oh come, I can dream, can’t I?), it has a shape not normally seen.
It’s a play on the normal mini-messenger cross body, sure, but it reminds me of a specialized hard binocular case. Do you see it? I guess this See by Chloe bag is partly for all the fashionista bird-watchers out there, and those who envy the cute shape of their binocular bags. Well, most likely that’s not the case, but it’s fun to think of it in that way. (more…)
Help me out folks. Would you pay $1295 for this tote? I realize it is a Marc Jacobs design, but still, I really can’t get passed this price tag. This price has me shaking my head with each stroke on my keyboard.
Alright, enough of my disbelief and onto the bag itself. This Marc Jacobs Love Bird Leather Tote is a bright and cheery tote that will add quite a bit of color to just about any outfit you might want to pair it with. (more…)
It seems as though many handbag lovers think Sonia Rykeil handbags are too much. I can understand this because there is always a lot going on with Sonia Rykiel bags. However, I am a huge fan. There was quite a bit of controversy when it came to the Sonia Rykiel Dita Shoulder Bag: I loved it, most others hated it. The other thing about these bags is that they usually come with a large price tag. So, when I came across the Sonia by Sonia Rykiel line, I couldn’t wait to see more. (more…)
This is an interesting clutch. While at first glance I wasn’t sure how I felt about the color combination, it is beginning to grow on me. (more…)
If you are looking for a clutch that will grab your attention and that of others, I’ve got a clutch for you. In fact, I come across clutches all the time that I think are pretty fantastic but I have a justification for them. This clutch kind of fits into this category, but at the same time there is something just absolutely gorgeous about this Stella McCartney clutch; something that I can’t stop loving. (more…)
Ladies and gentlemen, we are just days away from 2010. Can you believe it? I remember being younger and never quite understanding adults saying “Where has this year gone?”, yet now that I am, I guess an adult, I get it. It’s as if you blink and half the year is gone. But that’s really neither here nor there. With New Year’s Eve right around the corner, I try to mentally plan what I am going to wear and carry. When it comes to New Year’s Eve, I want a shiny, noticeable and gorgeous handbag in my hand. (more…)
Now, this is a satchel I can wrap my hands around – literally. I like almost everything about this DKNY Stamped Leather Satchel. The first thing that jumped out at me was the large gold-tone hardware. This hardware looks fabulous against the black patent croc-stamped leather. The gold pops, the black pops, the entire bag pops! (more…)
