All these years later, my all-time favorite DvF bag is still the Stephanie. I own two of these bags, they’re my go-to when it comes to traveling. I love that for this bag, the shape …
I spent the vast majority of my life as a competitive athlete. In fact, PurseBlog wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for me being an athlete; Vlad and I met on our college swim team. The day I was done swimming, I was done swimming. Actually I was done working out entirely. I was burned out and ready to veg out on the couch for years.
Recently, I started to get the urge to get back in shape and going to the gym involves picking out a gym bag, which was a great way to entice myself. Right when I spotted the Diane von Furstenberg Sporty Drew python-effect leather tote, it struck my fancy. Easy to use as your city-schlepping bag, this bag will look cute while being practical to carry workout essentials. (more…)
Diane von Furstenberg Harper Small Tasseled Shoulder Bag, $212 via Net-A-Porter
I started quickly browsing all of the bags that landed in the virtual sale racks of NAP. My eyes were drawn to the Diane von Furstenberg Harper in the geometrically color blocking pattern of white, olive, and black. A small bag that packs a fashionable punch, I absolutely adore this little bag. (more…)
Earlier this week we popped into the Diane von Furstenberg showroom to see all of the amazing accessories arriving soon (we have a huge spring look for you all coming tomorrow). DvF continues to nudge her way into the competitive handbag market effortlessly, bringing fresh designs that are grabbing attention. (more…)
Valentine’s Day falls smack in the middle of February Fashion Week. We all heard Rachel Zoe’s hubby lament over this fact and right now I might possibly lament over it as well. Granted I am not super Valentine’s Day obsessed, but I like some flowers, chocolates, and a nice romantic dinner. This year we will be hectic and busy with Fashion Week which means my Valentine’s Day gift might as well be fashion-related, say a handbag (ok, you can give me a handbag any time of the year and I will love it!).
The last big hit we covered from Diane von Furstenberg in the handbag world was the many reincarnations of the Stephanie. The next bag from DvF that is supposed to be a hit is the Harper Daybag. Amanda already covered Valentine’s Day goodies for all the ladies, but I need to add this bag to the list. (more…)
So I’ve been staring at this bag for a while. I continue to look at it and all that pops into my mind is Thanksgiving. Our Thanksgiving table is always decorated appropriately and I feel like this year I could add this DvF bag into the centerpiece and it would work beautifully. I’m not quite sure that is a good thing for the bag though.
In fact, we have seen a different reincarnation of this bag previously – in which majority of you deemed it crazy. But this version of the Diane von Furstenberg Piper Day Bag is designed with the right color scheme in mind. And that might be its saving grace. (more…)
Diane von Furstenberg continues to slowly but steadily make her way into the handbag and accessory world. Our favorite DvF bag thus far has been the Stephanie, which has garnered massive amount of buzz and press from editors and celebrities.
Check out the video above to see accessories from the Resort line for DvF and let us know what you think of DvF continuing to break into the handbag world.
So many of you said the Diane von Furstenberg Stephanie was too big. That bag is super-sized and super fabulous. But if you still think it is too big but you liked the look, DvF has come to the rescue. The Diane von Furstenberg Stephanie Clutch is the baby sis to the larger Stephanie and is the perfect size. We are obsessed. The body of the clutch features the chain-link metallic leather design, which is truly a technique I have not seen on another bag EVER. Dimensions of the clutch, 5.5″H x 11.5″L x 3″D, are tiny when compared to the large hobo [$395 via ShopBop].
Now Diane has taken over the handbag world, continuing to bring us DvF Handbags that we can not get enough of. Not only does Diane understand a woman’s body and how to make the perfect dress among other clothing items, but she also understands the handbag world. Therefor we adore Diane von Furstenberg and look forward to seeing many more of her bags.

Diane von Furstenberg has solidified herself as a designer, becoming widely popular for her wrap dresses and clothing line. But DvF continues to excite us with her success in the handbag world. This past Spring the handbag world was a buzz with the unique DvF Stephanie Hobo, which I am still head over heels for. Now I find myself checking out all of the handbags that DvF has to offer and loving her more and more as an accessory designer.

Just a heads up to all of you who loved the Diane von Furstenberg Stephanie Hobo, it is back! Shop Bop is carrying it in both the large and medium size. I have the large and absolutely positively love it. It can be a tad heavy at times, but this handbag looks entirely different from every other in my closet. Buy the medium through Shop Bop for $875 and the large through Shop Bop for $995 before they sell out again.
From the first moment I saw the DvF Stephanie Bag I knew I absolutely had to have it. This DvF bag is different from every single bag in my handbag closet. It is super large, it is super slouchy, it hangs low. It is the type of bag you would expect to see on a hipster, only it is not just intended for hipsters. This hobo gives off a rocker vibe, but there is something very goddess like about it as well. The most interesting part of this bag is the chain-link metallic leather. Upon first glance the bag may look like it is actually made of metal, but this bag features leather woven together in a way I have not seen on any other bag. I carried my new Diane von Furstenberg bag over the weekend and I am absolutely in love with it. Vlad loves it too. The bag is super oversized, but I am 5’10 so with the strap hanging low and me in flats it still hits nicely and is not dragging on the floor. I already received compliments and am sure that there are many more compliments to come. Vlad is planning to shoot this bag much more in depth, but for those of you who have been emailing me to ask about how it looks, fits, etc, I have a picture to share now (also the shot of Beyonce shows how the bag looks on). And the best news is that ShopBop is now carrying the bag! Buy through ShopBop for $995.
