Ok, you caught me. I’m shamelessly searching for the perfect messenger to tote my books around campus. And this A.P.C. Black Leather Satchel, my friends, is a prime example of a messenger made with the classic design in mind. Historically, messenger bags were used by-you guessed it- messengers, who transported mail or other goods. The design of this bag harks back to the canvas bags worn by newspaper delivery boys in the ’60s. The thing about this bag, though, is that it is not embellished at all, rather, it relies on the structure to supply the interest.
