When we started PurseBlog and PurseForum over ten years ago, the very first designer we met was Rebecca Minkoff. At the time, Rebecca and her team were working out of an apartment below her own place, and the tiny NYC office was filled with boxes and bags from end to end. Fast forward ten years, and the Rebecca Minkoff brand has expanded exponentially, with stores in NYC, LA, San Francisco, Hong Kong and Hyundai Mokdong.

But before this massive growth, Rebecca started on our forum chatting with her fans, who dubbed themselves the Minkettes. In June, we held a chat on tPF with our members, and we are taking it to the next level by partnering with her to help launch the “#myRM”: Your Design, Your Way campaign.

Just in time for the holidays, you can design your Rebecca Minkoff bag just how you’d like it, with various options for the leather, zipper track, hardware, lining and monogram color. You can pick from the M.A.B. Mini, Mini M.A.C., and Cory Pouch. All things considered, there are 84 unique bag combinations available. This initiative is opening up to PurseBlog and PurseForum members before the public, so you can get to designing right now!

Rebecca Minkoff myRM Bag

The M.A.B Mini is a PurseForum favorite, and Rebecca is bringing it back for this short time. On top of it, all of these bags will be made in New York City. This project is really special, and it’s another great way for fans of the brand to go back to its roots: being able to get a bag you love, from Rebecca, just how you like it. The Cory Pouch is $95, Mini M.A.C. is $275 and M.A.B. Mini is $445.

Also, mark your calendars, because tomorrow we are hosting another live chat with Rebecca Minkoff on the PurseForum and would love to have you there! Rebecca will be available to answer questions about her brand, and you can get advice on which way you should style your bag if you choose to customize it. Join us tomorrow, November 19th, at 4pm EST for one hour to chat with Rebecca on the PurseForum!

P.S. Please consider supporting our small, bag-loving team by clicking our links before shopping or checking out at your favorite online retailers like Amazon, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, or any of the listed partners on our shop page. We truly appreciate your support!

I have spent over an hour playing around with different combinations. My head is spinning. So much fun. Dilemma: Almond or cherry! Help!

    • So you should def come onto the live chat tomorrow with Rebecca and ask her what you should do! She is going to be chatting live on the forum at 4 pm EST and will be happy to answer that for you. No grey leather available, but the colors all look delicious!

I have never been a big fan of this brand….the designs are too all over the place.

Sorry you feel that way. I feel the same way about LV, Chanel, Balenciaga, Marc Jacobs, Valentino, Christian Louboutin, Michael Kors, Prada and Coach. Their designs are too over the place and boring.
