Proenza Schouler might be fairly new to the ad campaign game, but the company sure does know how to represent itself well. After all, this is Proenza Schouler we’re talking about here. In my mind they can do no wrong, and this image from the Proenza Schouler Spring 2012 ad campaign is just further proof.

It takes a lot of confidence as a brand to hire a model as world famous as Natasha Poly and then not show her face, but Jack and Lazaro have never lacked for nerve. Instead, the image, shot by photographer Willy Vanderperre and styled by Olivier Rizzo, focuses on what the brand does best – details. The woven bag, carved platforms and printed dress are all hallmarks of the brand’s intricate style, and the ad highlights how to combine those elements beautifully. I cannot wait for the collection to hit stores.

I like the shape of the bag. PS makes great clothes. The shoes here a little “out there” for me, (I’m too petite) but it’s a nice brand. I look forward to seeing more bags.

it is such a waste to hire a supermodel and did not show her face…they can hire street girls if they want to show only the feet…but nice design though.
