At first, I was going to say that Prada’s Fall 2011 campaign video was full of sexy models and handbags, but then I remembered that some of the models featured are under 18, and I thought that maybe that wouldn’t be the best choice of words. But the video is sexy, in a Lolita-esque, almost completely covered up sort of way. Prada’s Fall 2011 clothes are so thick and textured and non-sexual that the video runs directly counter to how you would expect the collection to be portrayed. But that’s the genius of Miuccia.

In this video, you get to see that genius up close. The clothes and accessories are full of texture, and when seen from close range, the incredible amount of work and detail that has gone into the line is more obvious than ever. Python, paillettes, buttons, suede, knit – inch for inch, it’s tough to beat Prada.

Wow that ad is pretty sexy which is kind if disturbing because the girl in the ad looks like shes maybe 14-15-16 years old. I do love the blue argyle socks!

I was totally thinking- yeah if 12 year olds are sexy… The merchandise is hot though!

I like it and agree that it’s sexy cool. But I am a big Prada fan, even if some of this fall shoes are dumb looking.

It’s really sexy and fantastic video.

I think the video is sexy yet very classy at the same time. Doing a sexy video can be really tricky, as a lot of carelessly-done sexiness can sometimes end up being trashy. Luckily, Prada is anything but.

I agree with Babs. I didn’t find it sexy at all. It looked like it was trying too hard and I found it almost creepy! Sexy has to be more refined and subliminal.

LOVE PRADA! The video, not so much. All I saw in the ad were children TRYING to be…sexy??? It wasn’t overt, per se, but just very… odd. I kept thinking that thes kids were playing dress up in mom’s clothes. This ad should be more for Miu Miu NOT Prada. Most of the items shown I wouldn’t wear, feels too adolescent. Probably just me though. ‘sigh’
