Prada is the brand that started it all for me.

I was in high school and had a friend who carried a Prada Nylon messenger bag (not the norm, I know), which changed my life’s trajectory. Sounds cliche, but it’s true.

That was when I started immersing myself in designer bags and going to the high-end mall with my friends to study the wares I so coveted in person. It was also when a Prada Nylon bag made its way onto my high school graduation wishlist, and once I secured the bag, my life was forever altered.

The Re-Nylon Bags

I’m kicking it off with the Prada Re-Edition 1978 Re-Nylon Top Handle Bag. This bag fits many functions, from a travel necessity to a more throw-over-your-shoulder-and-go vibe, and is available in Medium and Large sizes.

The Saffiano leather details accentuate the design well, and the interior offers ample space and two pockets. Included is a removable adjustable strap, allowing for a variety of ways to wear.

My daily go-to for many years has been from Prada, from a work bag to a baby bag to my travel carry. The Re-Edition 1978 tote also offers an exterior pocket, which is a nice touch.

Arguably, one of the most beloved Prada shapes in the Re-Nylon family is the backpack, and this version is a favorite. Backpacks continue to rule the designer scene; after all, practicality is the main point of a bag.

A Prada Full Re-Nylon Skirt paired with a simple white top is both refined and statement-making. There are other combinations, including Re-Nylon dresses (I own one from years ago, and it still looks brand new), along with elegant pointed-toe heels.

I love the additional options when it comes to accessorizing further within the Re-Nylon family: take this Re-Nylon Headband or this Re-Nylon Bucket Hat.

While timeless black and white is one of the most iconic and statement-making duos, many of these designs are also offered in other colorways.
