Emily in Paris checked all the boxes of my typical easy, rom-com-style drama show, but for some reason, I was a holdout for the first two seasons. Then season 3 dropped, and I binged all three seasons quickly and found myself a convert. One reason I love the show is the fashion – it’s both overly clichè as an American in Paris and gives us some early over-the-top Sex and the City-like outfit fun. And, of course, a wide array of bags!

Lily Collins has been a brand ambassador for several brands over the years, but her latest excites me most. Cartier tapped Lily Collins again (after multiple successful campaigns) for a whimsical look at the Panthère de Cartier and C de Cartier Handbag lines set in Paris.
While Cartier jewelry and watches are what most of us know the brand best for, jewelry companies expanding their bag lines seems to be a priority.

I believe now is the ideal time for brands like Cartier to push into the handbag world; with so much bag noise, having something equally luxurious but more under the radar is exciting and new.
My bag of choice is the Cartier C de Cartier East West Bag (filled with carbs, obviously). The simple but recognizable Cartier logo sits pretty on the front of the bag, and it feels like an if you know, you know kind of bag.
Lily Collins also sports the Panthère de Cartier Bag, which showcases beautiful leather with curved embossing alongside the signature Cartier panther motif with a golden and black enamel-finish clasp.
These shots are staged, but less staged in feeling, and make me excited for my guilty pleasure show to return while checking out the bags that will make an appearance. Bravo to Cartier for making these two lines of bags feel fun!
