Polène’s Shearling Bags Are Back for Fall 2023

Grab them now before they sell out!

At this point, Polène has become one of the, if not the most, coveted contemporary handbag brands amongst consumers that typically lean towards the luxury sector. This brand love is incredibly warranted. Polène is known for its sleek Parisian-chic bags that also boast a quality that few other brands can execute at the contemporary price point. It’s that equilibrium that is incredibly hard to balance. Polène’s line-up of lust-worthy brands continues to grow, catching the eye of both loyalists and new fans alike. Today, we’re not here to take a look at newness but rather to let you know that last year’s stunning shearling silhouettes are back.

Best Sellers Are Back

Last year, the styles saw unprecedented popularity, quickly selling out, but this season, two of Polène’s most-loved silhouettes, the Béri and the Numéro Neuf Mini, are back in ecru shearling. Shearling continues to be one of fall/winter’s biggest trends, teetering on a seasonal staple at this point, and Polène’s offerings allow you to dip into the trend at an accessible price point.

The bags are crafted from recycled fiber knits, which further cements Polène’s commitment to sustainability. Both the Béri ($380) and the Numéro Neuf Mini ($420) are accented with cognac leather-trimmed details, offering a nice addition to the fluidity of the shearling. Oozing the iconic Parisian spirit of Polène with a fresh, seasonal spin, the Beri is a personal favorite, with its knotted leather strap offering shoulder or crossbody wear.

Available now on the brand’s website, get them before they sell out!

“Luxury shearling” seems an oxymoron to me. They look cheap, they feel cheap and they are easily stained/damaged. Where is the luxury in that?

Okay Kelley, what bags do you consider “luxury” then? Just genuinely curious what fits your cut

I like the aesthetic of shearling bags, as impractical as they may be. I don’t own one, but they are visually interesting.
