This coming Saturday, October 10th, is the 3rd annual National Handbag Day which is a holiday we founded just over three years ago and is recognized by Chase’s Calendar of Events. That’s right, we made our holiday offical and we’ve had so much fun celebrating our love of handbags with you the past two years.
This year we are looking forward to celebrating with you again! Handbags have become so much more than just a sack that I use to carry my everyday essentials; handbags have changed my life and that of so many others. Over a shared love of bags, thousands of people have come together on the PurseForum to connect and make real life friendships over the past ten years.
Our goal is to to make #NationalHandbagDay trending on Instagram and Twitter this year and we need your help! On Saturday, be sure to upload photos of your favorite bags and use hashtag #NationalHandbagDay. We will be sharing some of our favorite photos our Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook accounts as well as on PurseBlog afterwards. We have some really fun editorial pieces in store for you all this week as well, so be sure to check back daily!
