For Loewe devotees, the arrival of warmer weather signals one thing: Loewe Paula’s Ibiza is on its way. Today, we’re treated to a first look at this year’s collection.
Fans of the House will already be familiar with the story behind the line, but it’s worth revisiting. Paula’s boutique in Ibiza, founded in 1972, quickly became a magnet for the island’s effortlessly chic set.
Known for its flowing florals, beach-to-evening ease, and silhouettes that embodied laid-back glamour, Paula’s captured the spirit of island dressing at its most alluring. A visit to the boutique had the power to transform even the most polished traveler.
The Return of Paula’s Ibiza
Though Paula’s closed its doors at the turn of the century, its legacy endures. That enduring allure ultimately inspired Loewe’s now-annual Paula’s Ibiza collection. Jonathan Anderson, the House’s former creative director, spent time on the island with his family during his youth, and it was during his tenure at the House of Loewe that the partnership first came to life.
While Anderson has since departed, Paula’s Ibiza has firmly established itself as a cornerstone of the House. For 2026, the collection returns once more, marking the final designs from Loewe’s in-house creative studio, designed ahead of the appointment of Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez. A first glimpse arrives via a series of newly unveiled campaign images lensed by artist and photographer Jack Pierson.
Paula’s Ibiza, Reimagined Once More
Infused with a sense of carefree sophistication, the imagery captures the essence of summer—sun-drenched and spirited—set against a backdrop of sand and sea. Tactile dresses and intricately crocheted separates are complemented by coordinated knits and statement-making accessories.
In true Paula’s Ibiza fashion, the bags are a highlight. This season introduces a beautifully crafted crocheted iteration of the Flamenco, alongside refreshed takes on Loewe’s iconic basket bag and the return of beloved silhouettes like the Ola and the Font tote.
