Like much of the luxury fashion industry, Gucci is currently in a major transitional phase, but that did not stop its in-house creative studio from wowing us on the Fall 2025 runway.
In the wake of Sabato De Sarno’s departure earlier this month, Gucci Fall 2025 went on sans a creative director, but the House used it as an opportunity to start fresh.
The Fall 2025 collection was like a palette cleanser of sorts. It felt distinctly Gucci, offering plenty of odes to the archvies and Gucci’s heritage, like Gucci Bamboo, the Horsebit motif, and the storied Gucci web.
Timeless Icons That Define Gucci’s DNA
Still, it felt modern and fresh, and the Gucci Portrait series, the ad campaign for the Fall 2025 collection, offered a further look at what fans were in store for when the collection dropped. Gucci’s heritage is at the heart of the collection, proving that no matter the creative director or the season, its distinct DNA outlasts it all—transcending aesthetics and trends.

There is nothing worth walking in the store. Overpriced, boring designs, nothing holds its value.
I used to love Gucci but now I realize that the quality is really average at best. Maybe it was different 25 year ago.
Idiotic prices, really crappy looking quality. In what appear to be professional photos? Look at the crooked Horsebit on the yellow bag, and how the shoe appears to be separating from the heel. It may not be, but why in the world release a photo that looks like that? The labels are laughing at us all the way to the bank.
I have to disagree. I am not saying the styles above are groundbreaking, to be honest, the best of the new arrivals are not pictured above. I have found Gucci to be great quality in all I have ever purchased. Yes, luxury goods are pricey, in comparison to most other designers Gucci prices are reasonable. The mules pictured, the heel is designed that way.
Gucci has become a complete joke.

The Gucci Siena bag looks a lot like Hermes Constance bag. Also, weirdly I like the Horsebit Wide Belt, not the price, just the belt. 😊

The difference in the quality of the Hermes vs. the Gucci bag will be vastly different; Hermes will be superior quality!
I don’t know about the Gucci one, but I own the Hermes one and the quality has been really disappointing for the price. The bag lost its shape within months.
Maybe try Delvaux instead?
Delvaux is one of my favorite designers, but I have yet to own a bag due to the price. Maybe, I will be able to afford it one day. 😊
