Though I live in a place that feels like a perpetual state of summer, other parts of the world are ready to join the party and celebrate long days and time off work. I find summer capsule collections to be the most exciting, probably because they give me a feeling of anticipation for a bit of a life slowdown.
My Fauré le Page Daily Battle is one of my most used bags of 2024 thus far. I carry my tote at least 5 times a week, typically when running around with my kids, and I have found its lightness, sturdiness, and less-notoriety as far as branding goes to be refreshing.
Classics Get a Refresh
In time for summer, the brand released its FLPop collection, which combines the sand-colored Scale pattern with summer hues of green or blue. Many of the classic pieces are updated with this new colorway, which immediately exudes summer’s lightness and cheery mood.
I own the Take It Easy 19 in a similar color combination and have not seen the bag show much wear in terms of color transfer, which is a major plus for a light-hued bag.
The classic Daily Battle, my personal go-to, is given this treatment, along with a versatile pochette zip and the Take It Easy 19.
I actually like these. More suited to spring summer than their previous offerings
I have the pink one but the blue and green are so lovely!
Megs I love this new beachy colors for Summer! Thank you for the articles you have written about these wonderful FLP bags! I have four, and I am completely addicted, they are the only bags I carry now! As an aside, I wondered if you knew what year they released the daily battle size 27? I was thinking it was 2020 but I’m not certain! Thank you!
