I know the Peekaboo bag has a lot of cachet and is well made. But $7250 is excessive for a bag that’s good for swanning around a ski resort and not much else. The Balenciaga City shearling bag would work just as well in that setting and it sells for about 1600 euros ($2300 in the U.S.). I saw it in silver/grey but the black is also nice. There isn’t $5000-plus difference between the two, IMO
Been in the shearling biz for 40 years. It is amazing what people will pay for a bunch of scraps sewn together.
It looks cute, but yeah $7K for shearling is too much.
