Earlier this week Dior held its Cruise 2020 show and today we're giving you a first look at the bags from this collection. The show was held in the Moroccan city of Marrakesh, and the collection itself was clearly inspired by the backdrop in which it was shown. Bags from this collection included various prints and textures, with leather bags being in the minority. As the house explained via instagram, creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri collaborated with illustrators from an African factory. The illustrators were given the opportunity to create reinterpretations of classic Dior elements like the toile de Jouy. The result is incredibly unique and special edition prints on genuine 100% made in Africa wax print fabrics. Favorites from this collection include a stunning yellow printed version of the Dior Book Tote as well as a woven red saddle bag. Models also walked the runway clutching teeny tiny versions of the Book Tote. View bags from the collection below.
