Dior’s Pre-Fall 2019 Bags Rely Heavily on Its Iconic Logo Detailing

they also snuck in some personalization options...

Did someone say, or rather scream, DIOR? Maria Grazia Chiuri hasn’t been shy in using logo elements the last few seasons, and her Pre-Fall 2019 bags were no different. Dior’s iconic logo print fabric was used throughout the collection, as was the use of big and bold CD hardware. The collection as a whole is unmistakably ‘Dior.’ The Saddle Bag once again makes an appearance, accompanied by embellished guitar straps, they were shown in both solid leathers and what appears to be exotic skins. A pretty printed version of the Dior Book Tote appeared as well.

Some new shapes were debuted amongst old fan-favorites, most notably a structured flap bag with a CD gold logo closure and what appears to be a convertible strap. The second, a mid-sized top handle bag that also looks to be fairly structured has a push-lock closure and is void of any clear details that scream ‘Dior.’ Rather, this larger new shape is shown with two gold initial letters, hinting at Dior releasing a personalization option. They are also seen throughout the collection on a few of the other bags if you take a close look. View all of the bags below.
