In celebration of Chinese Valentine’s Day Dior has introduced a capsule collection which includes brand new versions of fan favorite bags such as the Saddle bag and the Lady Dior. The bags feature icons of love such as hearts and couture florals. The line is said to be infused with passion and features plenty of red, which Christian Dior himself described as “the color of life”. Additionally, the heart is said to be one of Dior’s lifelong symbols of luck.
The Dior Saddle Bag is revamped in a beautiful red hue with appliqué flowers and the classic ‘D’ hanging charm. The Lady Dior also comes in an appliqué floral version, but there is also a classic quilted leather version that is emblazoned with a bold red heart and a detachable strap that reads ‘JE T’AIME’, which means ‘I love you’ in French. The bags, along with other accessories launched exclusively in Chinese and Canadian boutiques late last week.
