The Coach Rogue gained cult status after being introduced on the runway at the brand’s fall 2016 show. It instantly became a favorite of ours and yours, with the limited edition NYFW versions selling out almost immediately after they were launched. Designed by Stuart Vevers, the Rogue was the perfect combination of authentic Americana style, Coach’s storied heritage, and craftsmanship. Though simple in shape and fairly conventional in design, the Rogue quickly became one of the brand’s most sought-after pieces. The Rogue was eventually discontinued, but the style remained an icon, and now Coach is bringing the Rogue back, and it’s arguably better than ever.
The rerelease of the Rogue is part of the Coach Forever, Season Two collection, launched for fall 2021. It’s not surprising that this highly versatile bag is back, as it was one of the most popular Coach releases of the last decade. The launch of the new Rogue is noteworthy for a few reasons. To start, it uses various recycled materials like organic cotton and recycled plastic bottles for its Signature C Rogue and leather made using responsible practices.
The bag has always been extremely functional, with its ample inner pockets and multiple compartments. And now, it’s even lighter too, weighing in at 20% less so you can carry your Rogue all day (and all night!). For fall, the new Rogue is seen in new colorways and motifs and Coach’s classic Signature Cs. There’s also an option to create your own Rogue your way with various leather, hardware, and lining options. There are said to be over a million ways to customize.
