If you live in New York — or are visiting — we don’t need to tell you that NYFW has arrived. The week is officially underway, bringing with it ten-minute Uber rides that somehow turn into 30-minute, $50 treks, a bevy of influencers sprinting through SoHo en route to appointments and events, and, of course, the shows.
It wouldn’t be New York Fashion Week without the most New York show of them all. Yes, we’re talking about Coach, which presented its Fall 2026 collection yesterday. While the runway was filled with kisslocks and youthful nostalgia, outside the show, we spotted a little bit of everything.
Despite the bitter cold, NYFW attendees showed up to the Coach show with their very best bags (and looks to match). From the ever-iconic Tabby to spring 2026’s quick-to-sell-out Barrel bag, distressed denim, and more, the street style alone might convince you it’s time to add another Coach bag to your collection.
What I love most about the Coach show isn’t just the bags — it’s how they’re styled. Coach fans consistently deliver some of the most individualistic looks of the week. The classic Tabby paired effortlessly with sleek leather, others braved the chill in mini skirts, and one particularly bold attendee traipsed through weeks-old snow in head-to-toe white denim. Shudder.

The bags are cute but the outfits are too grungy for me
