Stuart Vevers’s Coach continues to focus on youthful interpretations of the brand’s iconic heritage and DNA. His collections ooze realness and showcase how the archives can not only be reimagined for the now but redefined by the people who wear them.
For Spring 2025, Vevers’ vision was to further explore that realness by showcasing clothes meant to be worn in a real urban environment. New York has always been Coach’s playground, and its grittiness is rooted in the brand’s DNA. Showing the collection at New York’s High Line made perfect sense.
“We’ve taken very archetypal pieces and made them unique to the wearer, with the proportions, with the styling, and with very playful embellishments that call into question the idea of traditional ‘luxury.’ I think what’s more valuable today is something that’s personal.” – Stuart Vevers
Modern Americana
While there is, of course, a design focus within each piece, the collection is really all about the styling and how it relates to individuality. The vibe of this collection overall is Modern Americana. There’s a focus on wardrobe staples like the traditional blazer, a staple trench, denim, khaki, and cotton tees worn in fun and interesting ways.
As for the bags, they, too, ooze hints of classic Coach with modern touches. Kiss lock bags dating back to the Bonnie Cashin era appear on buttery-soft oversized pouches that are relevant to the now. Mini Bags and Backpacks are also finished with the same iconic frame closure, some with graffiti finishes.
A bevy of bag charms appear throughout—speaking to the next generation and proving that no matter your age, fashion doesn’t have to be serious; it can be fun, and it can feel fuss-free. View bags from the runway below, images via Vogue Runway.
The Bags of Spring 2025

LOVE the kisslocks! Coach always does amazing kisslock designs….sadly these ones aren’t really practical with being either too big or too small, plus the eyesore graffiti. But I’m keeping my fingers crossed that what ends up in store will be more Goldilocks moderate. The clothes looked a bit zzzzz but again would have to see in real life to truly appreciate.
Exactly! Get rid of the graffiti and the smaller ones would be lovely!
My love affair with Coach continues. They are knocking it out of the ballpark. I’m not the least bit interested in LV, Gucci or any other luxury house this season. The hubs is extremely thankful!!
The large bear clutch is so cute and unique! Hopefully they make it or a version of it available for purchase
I love a kisslock bag, looking forward to the toned-down version of these!!
OMG! How do i join the waiting list???? I needed that burgundy clutch like yesterday!!!!
I’m waiting when and where can I get one
Yes where can I buy the extra large brown
OMG i actually LOVE These – this is the best coach runway yet.
The large kiss lock clutch is perfection, but for regular wear I hope they had some sort of strap included to make it a shoulder bag. Or maybe a strap you could purchase to make it more “One of a Kind” I am very happy to see Coach come back to life.
COACH! I will do anything for an oversized clutch with patches/stickers. Although without would have better longevity, I love the playfulness. I’m a bag charm girl for life and am living for this maximalist trend.
Kiss lock/Frame handbags! So glad, I have a few of them!
🥰
That oversized kiss lock in brown is gorg! It might not be very practical but I’d work with it for that modern spin on a retro clasp😍
Wow, those kisslock clutches, love. Sans graffiti. I have not bought a Coach in ages (save as presents for others) in decades. Coach was my gateway drug to the designers. I had tons and tons of Coach bags–all wonderful quality. I wonder if they’re going back to that now?
When can I purchase mine ?
That is my question
love the oversized coin purse
I love everything 👍❤️
Who is the new head designer? They are doing a phenomenal job.
Awesome I want the brown one and the burgundy
Loveeeeeee 👛!!!!!
Love kissliock smaller bag I do not like the writing
On it.
I have the Dino, kisslock frame and the bear. I haven’t used Coach since the 90s so this was a shocker. The leather is amazing and they’re actually functional. I’m a huge novelty bag collector so I’m ok with the huge size ❤️
