I kicked off this summer in a way younger me may have cringed at: I binge-watched Off Campus. In my defense, it was taking over every feed I scrolled through, but I also had the option to stop watching, and I never did. So, this was entirely on me. Vlad told me it reminded him of when we were younger and heard about a lot of people in their 40s going crazy for Twilight (namely the male leads), and he told me I have officially crossed into that realm.
Nevertheless, here we are, and I loved the show (though the helmet Wellsy wore won so many points for safety and lost just as many for looking goofy, especially in the scenes where it appeared). The show’s cast just finished a press junket, and lead actress Ella Bright, who was really wonderful as Hannah Wells, won me over in real life with her Coach fit.
A Runway Tabby Moment
The Coach Tabby is one of the biggest cornerstone bag families for Coach, and while there are many renditions, Ella Bright carried one seen on the runway. Coach Creative Director Stuart Vevers shared a series of photos of Bright in a full Spring 2026 Coach look, along with images of the items she was wearing.
Her specific Coach Tabby is a white/chalk denim version and is not currently available online, but the Tabby family is still extensive enough with plenty of other options (including the 4 seasonal variations I shared last week).
The Tabby is a classic; the bag that can start your collection, the bag that rounds out your collection, the bag that has an option for any occasion, and this variation shows that it also has the younger crowd appeal while also appealing to my age set as well, without any of the crossover cringe.
Product placement. Walking advertisement. I wonder how much money she got for this.
This has been the case for years. The point is not that celebrities are courted and given loads of free treats along w who knows what other enticements (of course they are) but that within an enormous field of free treats they still have to choose ones they actually like. If anyone cares about any particular famous person to begin with. But I think most of us still have some actor or musician or artist they care about and notice
Celebrities sign contracts with brands to wear their stuff. It’s not that the stuff is free… they get compensation too. Don’t be naïve.
That would fall under “other enticements.” No celebrity is going to wear something from a brand they think is ugly or frumpy. They care first and foremost about how they will be perceived. If you’re suggesting a truckload of money would persuade a riding star in this day and age to torpedo their social media image w a loser brand you are the one being naive.

Sooo, I was looking for the T shirt and the link here goes to the Coach website which only has a T shirt with a white appliqué “C” not the metal one shown here in the pics. Maybe it will come out later?
I’ll ask if her actual shirt will come in – I must have lost my eyesight because I thought it was the exact one, but isn’t!
She was obviously paid to use Coach products. That bag is really unappealing to me.
