In celebration of creative director Stuart Stuart Vevers’ 10th anniversary at the brand, Coach kicked off NYFW with a bang in the form of a runway show held at the iconic New York Public Library. This collection continues Stuart Vevers’ exploration of today’s version of youthfulness seen through the lens of Coach’s heritage. Each season, he hones in on this focus, redefining Coach’s design codes and expressing its archival language in new ways that promote personal style and individualism.
Youthful Interpretations of Coach’s American Heritage
Ready-to-wear pieces ooze that exact youthful feel, utilizing an array of textures. The collection featured tailored silhouettes, leather, classic denim, romantic slip dresses, and more. Throughout the design process, Vevers created with the idea in mind of challenging norms. Hand-distressing and other artisanal techniques echo that sentiment, celebrating the idea of pre-loved, worn-in pieces and nixing the emphasis that luxury places on perfection.
Coach (Re)Loved
Spring 2024 also introduces new and evolved design concepts as part of the (Re)Loved initiative, which repurposes leatherware and textiles to create a more circular fashion ecosystem. As for the leather goods, they are a continuation of the overall vision, offering an expressive contrast to Coach’s heritage pieces. New iterations of the beloved Tabby are seen in fun hues like yellow and green, while new quilted iterations of Coach Shapes are seen worn on their own and alongside larger tote bags. Like the oversized totes, Vevers also toys with the idea of classic Americana shapes like a leather bowling bag.

i’m loving not one, not two, but multiple bags from this collection!! J’adore!
The outfits are so distracting, my God. I love the duck bags, and the quilted shoulder bag on the male models.
