Inside Matthieu Blazy’s First Chanel Coco Beach Collection

A vibrant mix of texture, color, and craftsmanship defines the brand’s latest seasonal drop

Chanel Coco Beach 2026 Campaign 11

Though there is no true summer season in fashion, in the last decade brands have been quick to capitalize on the season’s playfulness by releasing capsule collections that are separate from their larger, more formal runway collections.

This means that while resort collections offer plenty of vacation wear for the beginning of the year, beachwear capsules that arrive in the spring will outfit you for your summer travels. This works especially well for brands like Chanel, whose loyalists are constantly on the lookout for something new and exciting.

Chanel Coco Beach, Through Blazy’s Lens

New and exciting is exactly what Chanel fans are in for with the drop of Matthieu Blazy’s first Chanel Coco Beach collection, which completely reinvigorates the art of summer dressing—the Chanel way. Ready-to-wear offers elevated takes on seasonal dressing, featuring luxe materials like silk and lace alongside jersey swimsuits, elevated knits, and sporty nylon pieces.

Raffia, which has quickly become one of fashion’s favorite seasonal materials, is woven throughout the collection, used on bags and in the ready-to-wear, with textured cotton and silk creating the illusion of raffia trim.

The Details That Define the Collection

The collection includes a bright palette of vivid reds, bold blues, and bright yellow, along with more neutrals and muted pastels. Of course, the collection also includes a range of bags: maxi raffia totes perfect for the beach, crocheted Classic Flaps, and even a terrycloth beach bag complete with a towel, and more. This collection includes something for every summer activity.

We have a closer look at some of the new bags coming soon, but for now, discover more from the campaign below, shot by Julien Martinez Leclerc, and get a preview of some of the bags from Chanel Coco Beach in the gallery above.
