In the mid-2020s, winter-themed capsule collections have become somewhat commonplace in the luxury fashion world, but rewind a decade ago, and that wasn’t the case.
Shearling or velvet were novelty fabrics that trended seasonally, but it was rare for designers to dedicate an entire collection to such niche themes—especially ones that included handbags. Ski—or at least Après-Ski—fashion has changed drastically in the last 15 years, the latter half of which has catered to handbag lovers.
In 2018, Chanel released its first-ever dedicated winter-themed capsule collection. Aptly dubbed Coco Neige (neige is the French word for snow), the collection has since become a yearly tradition for the Maison, one that collectors look forward to year after year.
Cozy Textures, Chic Details, and Iconic Chanel Codes

Returning for the Fall/Winter 2025/26 season, the latest Chanel Coco Neige Collection is here, just in time for the first chills of fall—and it’s one of the best yet. As expected, this capsule is full of textured knits that will keep you cozy, warm, and stylish, as well as an array of sport-ready pieces combining technical know-how with the chicness of Chanel.
Introduced in a new campaign starring actress and Chanel ambassador Nana Komatsu, the latest collection offers more than just a range of ready-to-wear—it includes shoes and accessories too. Chanel’s most important House codes are woven throughout—think sparkly details, bows, tweed, and more.
Bags and Accessories That Define Après-Ski Elegance
Chic on-the-nose winter accessories include an adorable pair of fur earmuffs emblazoned with Chanel’s iconic CCs and a fur hand muff on a chain (so chic!).
A range of bags complements the ready-to-wear, integrating the Maison’s iconic tweeds, double Cs, and seasonal shearling and velvet. Take a look at the gallery above to view some of our favorites.

$1200 mittens. I didn’t think I have a shock level (own lots of chanel) but this is silly.
I think it’s OK to purchase such quiet luxury mittens that they have no brand on them at all for about $100. And silly is the perfect word. Maybe leave mittens and warm clothing too Northface and Patagonia and the people that do it well. Nothing worse than seeing a pair of Prada snow skis at Mammoth. Cringe worthy.
I find it perfectly reasonable, if it means the items were made in the most ethical manner. Of course, I’ve never claimed to not be silly.
Whatever people like …I’m okay with it no judgement …just had to reply to ‘that they were made in the most ethical manner’…. Pretty sure Chanel could still make them in an ethical manner and be under $1200 for the materials that would cost about five dollars no matter how luxurious the feel LOL… No you are paying for the CC on the front of the mittens and if that’s what you want to do that’s absolutely fine go ahead it’s not silly at all
Personally I don’t particularly like the earmuffs, mittens or the bag in tweed with fur accent but I do like the tweed coat very cute
