As someone who spends a big part of her job looking at stock photos of handbags, I have a lot of opinions about them. Most online retailers and brands do a pretty disappointing job depicting their wares, especially when you consider how much work goes into making them and how much shoppers are expected to spend on them. That’s why I always keep an eye out for lookbooks like the one for the Céline December Selection; getting to see bags at interesting angles and in non-stock lighting is always a big help in evaluating how they’ll actually look in person.

I am surprised how popular the luggage line has been, considering how heavy it is even when empty. I lifted one once at the store and that was enough for me to look for a lighter bag.
I really don’t understand this bags. I just don’t get it. Maybe I should research more to understand why they are so popular.
