Big bags have been on the rise for a few years now, but as of the mid-2020s, they are undeniably and officially back with brands like Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, The Row, and more leading the pack.

If you’re like us, you may not be convinced that you need one after years of slimming down what it is that you carry, favoring card cases over large wallets, and doing whatever it takes to make your mini bag work. Hailey Rhode Baldwin Bieber recently became a mom, announcing the birth of her first child with her husband Justin back in August. The model and skincare mogul keeps much of her life with son Jack Blues Bieber private, and thus, we’ve been seeing a bit less of her in the last four months (and rightfully so). However, when the paparazzi do catch her, you can be sure we pay attention because her bag game is always on point.

New Year, Bigger Bags

We’re only seven days into the New Year, but HB is already proving that 2025 is the year of the big bag, at least if she has anything to say about it. In years past, Hailey embraced the Mini Bag trend, opting for fan favorites from both Saint Laurent and Bottega Veneta like the Le 5 à 7, which she owns in multiple colors, and the Mini Jodie.

These days, her need for a more capacious bag makes a lot of sense. The Bottega Veneta Large Hop and the Saint Laurent Bea Bag are the obvious choices for HB, who is definitely a brand loyalist.
