The Bombette has turned into a bit of a celeb favorite this summer – Miranda Kerr, Carey Mulligan, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley are all fans. This bag may only be available at Viktor & Rolf stores – we couldn’t find it in the online inventory of any of our old standbys, and even boutique-aggregator farfetch.com didn’t bear any fruit. We do know, though, that it retails for $1,995. Scarcity is probably one of the things that makes the bag extra appealing, of course, as it often tends to do in the luxury business.
In other news, how cute is Gwen Stefani’s son Kingston? He looks like a bonafide heartbreaker in the making. Like most Gen Y-ers, I have a strong affinity for Gwen and her fam – it’s nice to see a gal go from a humble ska band frontwoman to a pop star bazillionaire with a rock star husband and a closet full of designer goodies, all within the same decade. You’ve done well for yourself, Gwen!
