Celebs spent their Thanksgiving breaks the same way we all did: navigating crowded airports and juggling unwieldy luggage, all to break bread with the family members they love but see all too rarely. All but two of the celebs pictured below are outside or inside of airports, and because celebs fully expect to be photographed at airports, their bag choices are always truly top-notch.
Longchamp Le Pliage Heritage Saffiano Satchel
$1,270 via Saks
This gorgeous Longchamp bag immediately wins the competition for Most Thanksgiving-Appropriate Bag of the Year, mainly because it looks a bit like a giant gift basket. The price seems incredibly reasonable for a (scratch-resistant!) saffiano leather satchel, but I feel obliged to remind you that Longchamp also makes a durable nylon version of the Le Pliage that retails for a mere $145.
Givenchy Lucrezia Satchel
$2,490 via Bergdorf Goodman
Here's Twilight star Ashley Greene (who I just found out is NOT Twilight star Nikki Reed!) zipping through LAX with an eternally safe travel choice, the Givenchy Lucrezia Satchel. At press time, there was no word on what Nikki Reed did during her Thanksgiving holiday.
When I was a teenage girl, I was pretty sure that Catherine Zeta-Jones was the epitome of worldly, womanly sophistication. My ideas have yet to be disproved. Here she is, all Birkins and class, fielding the crowds at LAX like everyone else. Also, if you owned an Hermès bag, why would you not tie an Hermès scarf on the handle?
Chanel Patent Boy Tote
At this point, I have to wonder how many celebrities literally bump into other celebrities on a holiday weekend at LAX. This is getting ridiculous. Demi's extra sharp Chanel Patent Boy Tote, however, is ridiculous in a totally different, entirely positive way.
Christian Dior Lady Dior Bag
Meanwhile, miles and miles away from the hustle and bustle of LAX, Emmy Rossum walked her new rescue Yorkie Cinnamon to a nearby Edible Arrangements while carrying a black patent Lady Dior.
Hermès So Black Birkin
Back at LAX, Kim Kardashian's well-loved Hermes So Black Birkin was not holding up very well to flash photography. Fortunately, "Will my bag hold up well to an onslaught of paparazzi flash photography?" is not something most of us mere mortals have to ponder.
Dolce & Gabbana Agata Bag

Taylor Swift actually spent her holiday in England so she could perform at the Victoria's Secret "Fashion Show". Here she is, looking particularly satisfied outside her London hotel (probably because she's WON at EVERYTHING), carrying a Dolce & Gabbana Agata Bag. I don't think any celebrity has carried as many different D&G bags in the last five years as Taylor has carried in the year 2014.
Givenchy Camouflage Duffel Bag
Shop Givenchy via Net-a-Porter
Here's rapper Tyga, probably reacting to some pap question about whether or not he is dating Kylie Jenner, outside LAX (of course). Tyga's massive pile of luggage includes a brightly hued Givenchy Camouflage Duffel Bag, which we could classify as an alpha man bag, of sorts.
