One of the biggest trends to come out of the post-pandemic fashion movement is all color everything! From yellow and purple to green and orange, colorful bags and accessories are everywhere. Adding a little bit of color to your outfit is not only a fun way to make your outfit pop, but it’s a sure way to add a little bit of joy to your day. The color trend expands this season in a big way, and colorful footwear is all the rage for the warmer months this year.
As spring revs up and summer looms, we’re seeing an influx of sporty sandals in the boldest hues for spring. Add a little bit of pep to your step with shoes that will brighten your day without hurting your feet. I’ve got my eye on the Pradas below, thanks to the most stylish shopper we spotted out in SoHo last week. Check out more fun picks below!
I like colorful shoes, but these make everyone’s feet look like Frankensteins. Are women really buying into these fashions/styles?
Completely agree! All of those look horrible maybe with the exception of Loewe. And the winner in ugliness IMHO is the yellow Prada
I see a lot of these clunky sandals around my neighborhood and I just think . . . they’re not for me, but that’s ok! But I AM curious about the rubbery birkenstocks. can anyone confirm if they are actually comfortable?
Can also confirm they are comfy. Own 3 rubbery one and the footbed is very comfortable and nice for the beach!
yes there are 🙂 imo they ‘re more comfortable than the ones with the classic leather insole.
We did spot a woman with the Pradas on who is featured above, and I’m sure we’ll start seeing more as the temps get warmer here in NYC. I also just bought the Loewe espadrilles listed here!
I read the description and the heel height is “4” which I presume means 4 cm which is 1.57”. Why are they called “espadrilles” since the ones I own (Chanel) are a closed shoe. Anyway, you should style yours on here.
They’re really fun! I like the Bottegas, too. It’s not $900 worth of like, though, so I’ll just admire the pictures, lol.
Well done!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I like the post about another favorite, shoes!
I’m excited for the warm weather so that I can wear my new purple « La Medusa »Versace leather slides in purple « lapid ». Any time is a great time for colour, pandemic or no pandemic.

When is the ugly shoe trend going to end? Those look like the “orthopedic” sandals of old. I imagine grandmas with their knee-high stockings rolled down to the ankles wearing them.
Grandma’s? There’s always ageist comments on here. I’m a Grandma or “Nana” to be more specific and I wouldn’t be caught dead in what you described. Tbh, Grandma’s dress stylish, you’d be surprised what we wear. We aren’t the stereotype that’s constantly being portrayed here.
I think rubber will return to the mode because it is ceap
