Since his appointment at Balenciaga a decade ago, Demna Gvaslia has proven his power in disrupting the ordinary. At a Balenciaga show, the only thing you can expect is that it will be odd and it will make you think. Proportions are played with, and lines are blurred—nothing is what it seems.
It was no different at the brand’s Fall 2025 show, which explored the codes that Demna has established throughout the last decade at Balenciaga. Furthermore, the ready-to-wear pieces are an exploration or a”study,” as Demna himself put it, of the traditional wardrobe.

What came down the runway was a parade of looks that defied standards, wardrobe staples reinvented through a high-fashion lens. Very Balenciaga and very Demna. Nylon puffers were given a constructed bodice, tailored suits were constructed and deconstructed, knitwear was finished with Medici collars, and skirts were fashioned from shirts. This season also introduces a hot new collaboration: sports meets fashion once again, with Balenciaga partnering with Puma this time around.
The Bags of Balenciaga Fall 2025
The bags, too, feel quintessentially Balenciaga. A structured top-handle bag carried with documents peeking out reinvents the classic work bag. Elsewhere, Balenciaga dust and jewelry bags are reworked as drawstring purses crafted from ultra-soft lambskin or suede, while oversized, relaxed flap bags bearing Demna’s signature BB logo are also a focus this season. Crinkled Balenciaga shoppers are clutched by models, but are they plastic or are they leather? More below.

Time to get out my dust bag and use it as a handbag
😂😂😂
The structured top-handle bag is interesting.
It seems like the front compartment is meant to be open and the flap can lock the back compartment?
trash as always
