Bags In The Wild

The Best Street Style Bags of Downtown Manhattan, Fall 2021 Edition

The temps may be dropping but the bag heat remains in SoHo and the Lower East Side

As the year drags on, teasing its inevitable end, the temps have begun to drop, and winter is near. The holiday season has begun in NYC, each year blessing us with its presence earlier and earlier. There’s a slight air of holiday cheer, and it’s so close you can almost feel it fully. Bryant Park’s Winter Village has already opened for the 2021 season. The Rockefeller Christmas tree is on its way to NYC. Over-the-top decorations have already begun to dress New York’s boutiques, department stores, and restaurants.

But before tourists descend on Rockefeller Center as they do every year around this time, and the streets are filled with down jackets, we decided to head south to downtown Manhattan to see what locals were toting around town for fall. We spotted our fair share of enviable designer carries as well as a few unbranded mysteries we weren’t able to identify. Check out the full lot of bags below!
