The end of the year often feels like a blur. From the hustle and bustle of travel to the last-minute holiday rush, December is one of the busiest times of the year. In cities like New York and Miami, this means an influx of people and an excess of (the already heavy) traffic. For us, this brings a unique bit of joy, as foot traffic is also up this time of year, and you know what that means: bag spotting!
We spent some time during the holidays out and about in both Miami and New York, which consistently wowed us this year. From Upper East Side Birkins and Kellys to both Classic and trendy Diors, and even an appearance by yours truly, this batch of bags offers something for everyone.

There are a lot of other H bags that are great. Seeing so many Birkins makes me glad I no longer own one. Would rather have something more unique from H.
That’s exactly why the birkin (even the Kelly) is the basic b bag of the 2020’s. They’re literally everywhere and that’s not even counting on social media. So sad that people have such lack of originality when it comes to personal style. It’s not REAL old money I’ll tell you that much lol More like I just won the lottery style.

It doesn’t matter who made it. I don’t care if it was made by an alien. Not everything is about race! It’s not an attractive bag and the logo is awful. To each his own.

Nothing says, “Rob me!” like an open-top Birkin or other expensive, open bag held so casually, and especially any crossbody bags carried behind their backs with the latch facing out. How do you secure your wallet and other valuables when you are lumbering/teetering obliviously down a crowded street, staring at your iPhone and paying zero attention to the traffic or people around you?? Then they’ll all cry, “Buuuutttt….I was ROBBED!” Sad.

I love the Dior bucket bag. I looked at it in Paris last month and loved it, though it was too small for my needs. But looks great in the picture.

The Kelly bag worn on the shoulder makes uou an easy target. Id never wear it that way. I will wear it crossbody in New York. Buy a longer strap!
No matter how many times i was about to buy a Bottega bag, i always change my mind as they are very underwhelming for the steep price.
