Memorial Day weekend has come and gone, which means that the summer season has kicked off in full swing here in NYC. Along with the Memorial Day holiday came a big hike in the temps, and our very first heat wave is here. But before we start to share the itsy bitsy short shorts and flowy sundresses New Yorkers will be donning for the rest of the season, we’ve got a few more spring bags to peek at. This week we saw quite a pleasing variety of bags. There was a little bit of vintage and some popular fan favorites like the Dior Saddle bag and Prada’s Re-Edition, but we also snapped a bunch of unbranded cool carries all around the city (do let us know if you recognize any of them!).

Didn’t you mean, life-reducing?? If you’ve ever known anyone dying from lung cancer, COPD or the many other terminal illnesses smoking causes, you’d not take it so lightly.

growing up in NY my mom made me wash my feet as soon as I got home if I had sandals on! haha

Interesting purses. Clothes, not so much. And did my eyes deceive me, or does that person wearing braids & staring at her phone have a pink ruffled thong peeking out in front of her low-rise jeans? Ugh. Guess no one worries about pickpockets, either, given the number of bags flung over their butts and dangling from the back of chairs.
The black bag in the photo below the Prada Crystal Cleo is from the brand Vasic, it’s either the Ever Mini or Ever Mini Mini!

I love the pictures with the Dior hobo and the Chanel tote – both look so much loved, clearly the owners wear them all the time without thinking about the brands and status (at least this is how it looks to me). Also love that PB publishes pictures with “mystery bags” so that any reader can “solve the mystery”. Hoping I will one day be able to identify one of these!
