We’re heading back to the streets of the UES today for our third installment of April’s best Bags in the Wild. If you haven’t already, check out parts I and II.
They say April showers bring May flowers, but in this case, April’s showers brought us dozens (and I mean dozens) of amazing bags. While we spotted the usual suspects like Chanel, Hermès, and Goyard, we were also blessed with a variety of the season’s best bags.
The Bottega Veneta Hop continues to be a favorite, whether uptown or down, as does the Dior Saddle Bag. April also brought us a rare Schiaparelli out in the wild, which was styled to perfection paired with Celine sunglasses, high-waisted denim, and a novelty button-up. More below!
An exceptionally good day in the wild!! Loooving seeing all the chic older ladies!!!!
I agree, that “session” in the wild was a good one. The older ladies I encountered absolutely nailed their confident style.
Another great one but sadly no dogs in this set of pictures. i still miss the poodles from episode 1.
We will try to include as many pet friends as we can!
😊❤️
NYC seems to have quite the love affair with Bottega. I don’t think I’ve seen such a wide variety of BV bags in BITW before, though there are often one or two. (I only point it out because, to me, it is delightfully on-brand for an east coast city with roots in prep school dressing.)
On a slightly different note, what a treat seeing a(n olive!) Loewe Amazona in the wild. I hardly ever see them, but always love the sight.
I really like the pink sweatsuit with the grey Birkin. Too many Birkin owners (at least the ones I watch on YouTube) treat that bag way too precious and “save” it for special occasions. I like the casual vibe.
OMG, the perfect patina on that Speedy — really upgrades the bag!
