While every season in the city has its perks, there really is nothing like fall weather in NYC. Everyone is happier when August’s hot, sticky days turn to the breezy, cool ones of September. This tends to happen around late September, just after NYFW has swept through the city. This year was no different, and New Yorkers love to show off their fall fashion as soon as the temps decline a bit.
We, too, enjoy the concrete jungle a bit more when it is not sweltering hot, so last month, we spent a lovely fall day strolling the streets of the UES to see what bags New Yorkers were carrying as the fall season kicked off. As to be expected, we saw plenty of Hermès, a bit of Chanel, some old Celine, and a whole lot more!
Check out a fresh set of Bags in the Wild below, and just in case you missed it, tune in now to see what bags we spotted last month in Atlanta.
The lady with the suede jacket looks absolutely fabulous
Agreed!
The woman with Kelly and brown suede-ish jacket looks chic, while the girl with Longchamp below her looks like someone who go to Gossip Girl high school
Agree! Although at first glance I thought the Longchamp girl was Lana Condor 😄
Kinda fun seeing the Koons bag in the wild… years after its very divisive release!
Love seeing some love for Longchamp pliage
I love the suede jacket lady very classy and classic – She reminds me of Jane Fonda
I wasn’t the BOYY Wonton bag but in a different color.
And the suede blazer? FABULOUS.
My neighborhood…Literally the best and tasteful sighting when out and about.
Little girls under 18 really too young to wear
designer bags unless it’s moms leftover.
