It may be a gloomy Tuesday morning here in New York, but you wouldn’t know if by the stunning roundup of bags we have for you below. While rainy days uptown often means the Upper East Side’s finest trade their walking shoes and window shopping for rainboots and jetting in and out of Ubers, we spent some time on the Upper East Side earlier this month when the weather was looking up. The UES continues to wow, no matter the month or the season, and today we’ve got Kellys, Chanel, Fendi, and even a Polène sighting! We’re truly enamored by this set of bags we spotted on the most stylish of uptown New Yorkers earlier this month.
So without further ado, check out a fresh set of real people and their real street-style bags below! Which one is your favorite?
Happy to see lots of skinny jeans
The Coach bag looks like my Coach Parker.
In the second picture, I really like her head-to-tie look. It’s casual yet pulled together. It makes the Kelly look less stuffy.
That LV Cappucines is beautiful!
Love the whole look of the women with the Kelly bag, trio and the coach bag. The coach bag is not bad either!
I have the same Coach bag in olive tone, it’s amazing! You can also shorten the chain and wear it easily as a shoulder bag. One of my favourites!
The Coach bag and basically the girl’s whole outfit is **chef’s kiss
Actually I like all the looks.
Love the Gucci 1955 Top Handle and the BV Padded Jodie.
There’s never any Valextra – are they a brand to avoid?
Why would you want to avoid a well made, high quality designer handbag? Depends on where you are located, but I see Valextra often in Geneva, Milan, and Vienna. It is also a respected brand in Singapore.
Just checking in case there was bad PR I wasn’t aware of, like how D&G has now been shunned. Good to hear, thanks!
Valextra is amazing quality it just hasn’t taken off in the inflluencer market so not as saught after I suppose. They make well made bags that are classic in style.
Really love this lineup, especially the effortless elegance and classic styles!
YES! So many great bags and classic outfits featured.
My opinion may not be popular, but I’m starting to feel like the Hermès Birkin and Kelly is over rated. That’s literally mostly what you see now.
Maybe the furore caused by the article about women in high society NYC buying well-made dupes has jaded us. They’re gorgeous bags, but now every time I see one I’m like “…good dupe or forreal…”
like the way the on the go in that picture really is on the go ! ….. not boxy its really cool !
Wondering if anyone has additional info on the Bottega tote? I’m not well-versed in BV but love this particular style.
It’s the Bottega Veneta Maxi Convertible tote, a Tomas Maier design. This one’s available (for now)
