Henry Wadsworth Longfellow once said, “The life of a man consists not in seeing visions and in dreaming dreams, but in active charity and in willing service”. Behind the impeccably skilled designer, Zac Posen, is a man with a charitable heart for a cause that reaches out to us all. Zac Posen has partnered with DHL to create the Zac Posen + DHL Tote For Teachers and will donate 100% of proceeds benefit Teachers Count. Teachers Count is a non-profit organization that prides itself in furthering teacher appreciation. Without teachers we would all not be who we are today, for it is the teachers that have nurtured our minds and expanded our thoughts.

being a teacher myself (i teach grade 2), it’s nice to see a designer recognizing the hard work and effort we do. i know our job isn’t that glamorous so thank u, zac posen, for thinking of us. now if only i can get my hands on that bag

This is the best cause ever. so many times the teacher is overlooked, and they have one of the most important jobs in the world.

we can also show our support to teachers around our areas by not yelling at them when lil timmy gets a D in reading. lol (kidding)

I wish I knew a teacher personally, that would make a great gift!

Cute as a button! But not nearly h-u-u-u-g-e enough for my gradebook, planbook, lunch, and all of the folders, manuals, and paperwork that I carry back and forth to school everyday. I also teach 2nd Grade, and I haul my school stuff in an almost-enormous super-sturdy black leather and canvas Ralph Lauren bag I got several years ago at TJMAXX. And while I’d love to have someone GIVE me this bag as a gift, I’d rather spend my hard-earned $400 on another Louis Vuitton (and I will! )

beth001, i agree! i think the only thing i’ll be able to fit in that bag is my lesson plan folder! i’m using a black leather and canvas manbag to haul all my things right now, alternating it with my 2 very dear lacoste briefcase bags. but when i saw the LV neverfull, i knew i found the perfect teacher bag. i’m getting it for my bday next month cuz i “need” it for work.

but if some kind parent would gift me the zac posen bag, i wouldn’t mind as well

JM, I’d love to know how the Neverfull works for you! I bought it on elux when it first came out, thinking I could use it as a work bag, but then there were all those reports of color transfer and such, so I returned it. I sure hope it works out GREAT for you — and Happy Birthday!

what teacher can afford $400 for a bag? Not very practical for toting books etc around. Nice thought but price and usefulness is disappointing.

Besides the $400 price tag, does the bag remind anyone else of McDonald’s??
