Louis Vuitton Monogram Graffiti Neverfull GM

I know that the Stephen Sprouse collections have been a bit controversial among the Louis Vuitton crowd, but for some reason, I can’t help but like them. Perhaps it’s because I’m a fan of the Sprouse aesthetic in general, or maybe because my generation is probably the target audience for pop-art fashion, or maybe it’s just because my personal taste can, at times, venture to the ridiculous. For whatever reason, I wish I had unlimited funds and a reason to own something like the Louis Vuitton Monogram Graffiti Neverfull GM.

As with all Neverfulls, I wish the strap was thicker, and if it was it would make a perfect school bag for a college kid that has everything (and I knew one or two of those during my undergrad years). Because of the utter ridiculousness of the bag – orange writing over brown and tan monogram – it’s one of those bags that you really wouldn’t need to try and match to anything. It’s iconic enough on it’s own that the only thing I would seriously advise against wearing it with would be another bold pattern. Other than that, go to town – wear it with whatever, but be proud. It’s the type of bag that you really have to own to pull it off. Buy through eLuxury for $1290.

Oh I know what you mean. I’ve avoided the monogram bags for a long time. But after coping a feel of the neverfull in the store, I realised the size was just perfect for everything. The Sprouse collection is not for the faint of heart, and I really love it. I got my SA to order one of the very rare green graffiti neverfulls, and am currently awaiting its arrival *woohoooo*

I bought it the day it landed in Los Angeles (I got the pink one). LOVE IT. It gets some very interesting and strong reactions. Women and MEN (surprise) will come up and ask me about it and are generally very positive. However, I had to go to Burbank last week to run an unpleasant errand (gross) and two old bats were behind me and one says to the other, very, very loudly “that is the ugliest bag I’ve ever seen, why would anyone want to carry that thing, I don’t understand – blah, blah, blah.”

My urge was to tell them to keep their traps shut and move out of my field of sight, vision and sound. I wanted to give them the finger. I wanted to key thier huge SUV that they parked way too close to my car. But, I didn’t. Nasty, bitter, dried-up, old valley bats.

I love all Neverfulls, especially in Damien canvas. However, I feel that it’s the thinness of the straps and the leather drawstring ties on each side that makes it so chic…

I LOVE IT!!! I purchased the green and pink one and love them both! I could care less what someone else thinks. It’s what I like. The colors are great and it is such a fun bag.

I have a monogram GM and it’s currently my favourite bag. The strap is just fine as it is. It holds an impressive amount of things without strain. Quite a design feat (the straps, their stitching and positioning). However, I don’t like the fluoro orange. I’m sorry, but even if I had the funds, I wouldn’t bother. It’s difficult to match with my wardrobe, and I think many wardrobes. Even Madonna can’t make the colour work.

Since I currently live on a college campus I see these everywhere (we have an affluent population that for some reason comes to southern Indiana) . It looks like they don’t mind the thin straps, but I just don’t think that this bag is great. This Sprouse is just to widely available that the appeal is not really there. Now the Richard Prince collection, that had a waiting list, that was amazingly beautiful. I know that it’s a tribute, but maybe too soon as the original was not THAT long ago.

I love this Sprouse tribute collection (which is interesting, because I hated the original one). It really is incredibly fun, and hugely eye-catching.

I have the green Neverful, and absolutely love it. I wore it to a nightclub and when the blue lights came on, the bag just BOOMED! I was amazed, and so was everyone else. People were just drawn to it like moths to flames. One man came up to me and said “It really is all about the bag!”. I had to agree, and am thinking of adopting that expression as my personal motto. lol.

I have the pink one and I think that it’ wonderful!!! People look at me like I’m crazy, but I use it with every clothes!!!!!
I have also a speedy 30 damier azur and a alma silver, but my favorite is my neverfull GM!!!!!

I’am not quite sure what to make of my hot pink graffiti speedy. Its like a train reck. I look at it and its hard to turn away. My husband hates it but, I’am glad i bought it. I feel more edgy and a part of high fashion carrying it.
